Seeee?! IAH TOLDJU IT WOULD BE A VERY SPECIAL DAY TODAY.
Everyone, today is none other than, the 10TH ANNIVERSARY of when the very first Ice Age film was released and started one of the greatest film series of all time. 8DDD
So because of that, I have indeed decided to draw human versions of our main Sub-Zero-Heroes. > U < It's sad though, because I had a 10th Anniversary picture in my head for a REALLY long time... It was supposed to be a colored picture of EVERY SINGLE character in the Ice Age films so far. Even the fairly minor ones. It was a big project of mine that I was too lazy to start on, and because it would be too much work... So I drew this at the last minute. OTL
I couldn't color it either since the day was so close...DX
But my God everyone...10 FUCKING YEARS. I WAS STILL IN KINDERGARTEN WHEN THIS MOVIE CAME OUT. 5 YEARS OLD. I'M SO OLD.
But I feel so proud too. I feel so proud that it's been 10 years and that I was around it since the beginning.
And when I was 12, I REALLY wanted to see Ice Age 3 for Scrat and Scratte, then became a teenager...and now I'm gonna be 16 when the 4th film comes out. Just like how I was 6 when I saw the first film. <3
Wow...every 3 years they released a new movie...and 13 and 16 are very important years in adult hood. Ahhh~ <3 And if it weren't for Ice Age as well...I wouldn't have met Renee. My best friend in the whole wide world.
Ice Age...you are a film series that will forever remain apart of me. And Blue Sky Studios... congratulations...on making such an amazing film series. Now I can't wait for the 4th film. X3 Ahhh~ But it looks so different from the past 3 films...I hope I like it... I'm pretty sure I will though...probably just my anxiety.
Oh my God, Manny looks terrible in every single picture I draw him in. My drawing style of him never change. I seriously need to practice on drawing him AND the male body more. OTL And I know that the pictures are kind of hard to see, but just tilt your computer screen a little, or look more closely at it;;;
